The personal data collected on this website is stored in the host's systems. This primarily includes IP addresses, log file data, usage data, meta and communication data, contact details, user information, and other data generated via this website. The specific data collected through the integrated services can be found in the privacy statement in the further course.
The use of the host is for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers as well as business partners (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offer for website visitors and interested parties by the affiliated group company in its administrative function (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Our host will process your data only to the extent necessary to fulfill its service obligations and follow our instructions with regard to this data. To ensure data processing compliant with data protection regulations, we have concluded a contract processing agreement with the host according to the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR.

Server Log Files

When you access our website, it is technically necessary for data to be transmitted to our web server through your internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:

We collect the listed data to ensure a smooth connection setup of the website and to enable comfortable use of our website by users. Furthermore, the log file serves for the evaluation of system security and stability as well as for administrative purposes. The legal basis for the temporary storage of data or log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

For reasons of technical security, especially to defend against attack attempts on our web server, we store this data temporarily. Based on this data, it is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons. After a maximum of 2 years, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address to the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual user.

In anonymized form, the data may also be processed for statistical purposes. Storage of this data together with other personal data of the user, comparison with other data sets, or disclosure to third parties does not take place at any time.

Request for Quotation Web Form

On our website, we provide a web form through which you can contact us to request a free quotation for our services via email and telephone. The transmission of personal data via the web form is exclusively encrypted. If you make use of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. This data includes the user's email address, first and last name, salutation, and the name of the company. At the time of sending the message, the following data is also stored: date and time.

In this context, there is no disclosure of data to third parties. The data is processed solely within the scope of the stated purpose – for sending a quotation and making telephone contact. The legal basis for processing the data, which is transmitted in the course of sending an email, is the performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or your consent according to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

Your personal data will generally be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. The personal data collected for requesting quotations will be deleted as soon as the quotation has been sent and prompt telephone contact with you has occurred or was unsuccessful. Continued processing only takes place if it is necessary as part of the initiation and execution of a contract or to fulfill resulting contractual purposes.

Contact Form and Contact via Email

If you send us inquiries via a contact form or email, your details from the inquiry form or your email, including the provided first and last name, salutation, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. Providing an email address, your name, and the name of the company is required for contact purposes. We do not disclose this data without your consent. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as well as, if applicable, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, if your inquiry aims at concluding a contract. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your inquiry, provided that there are no legal retention obligations. In the case of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time.

Application Submission Web Form

When you apply to us via our web form, we collect personal data. This includes, in particular, your contact details (such as first and last name, salutation, postal address, telephone number, and email address of the user), as well as other data provided by you about your career (e.g., resume, qualifications, degrees, and professional experience) and your personal information (e.g., cover letter, personal interests). This may also include special categories of personal data (e.g., information about a disability). Your personal data is usually collected directly from you as part of the application process and is encrypted during electronic transmission. The data comes from the online application form to be filled out and the files uploaded.

The data processing serves to initiate an employment relationship. The primary legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26(1) BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). In addition, consents pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a), 7 GDPR in conjunction with § 26(2) BDSG can be used as a data protection permission provision. If the processing of your data is based on consent, you have the right to revoke the consent at any time with effect for the future.

Within our company, only those persons and positions (e.g., human resources) have access to your personal data who absolutely need it to carry out the application process or to fulfill our legal obligations. Your applications may be forwarded to the responsible parties for examination. Under no circumstances will your personal data be disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

Your data for an application for a specific job posting will be stored and processed by us during the ongoing application process. After the application process has ended (e.g., in the form of acceptance or rejection), the application process, including all personal data, will be deleted from the system six months after the end of the application process. In the case of acceptance, we reserve the right to retain your application for a longer period if the start date is more than six months in the future.

Newsletter

If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, which provides regular information about our offers and products, we require your email address as a mandatory field. Additional data is collected to be able to personally address you in the newsletter and/or to identify you in case you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject.

For sending the newsletter, we use the double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you our newsletter by email once you have explicitly confirmed that you consent to receiving newsletters. In the first step, you will receive an email with a link through which you can confirm that you wish to receive newsletters in the future as the owner of the respective email address. With this confirmation, you grant us your consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR to use your personal data for the purpose of sending the requested newsletter.

When registering for the newsletter, in addition to the email address required for sending, we also store the IP address from which you registered for the newsletter, as well as the date and time of registration and confirmation, to be able to trace possible misuse at a later date.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the link provided in each newsletter or by sending an email to the responsible party mentioned above. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to continued use of the data collected or continued processing is otherwise legally permissible.

The dispatch of our email newsletters is handled by the technical service provider Inc., 415 Mission St, 94105, and San Francisco ("salesforce.com"), to whom we transmit the data provided by you during newsletter registration. This transfer is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective, secure, and user-friendly newsletter system. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g., email address) is stored on salesforce.com servers in the USA.

salesforce.com uses this information for sending the newsletter and for statistical analysis of the newsletters on our behalf. The emails sent include so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files stored on our website. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links may have been clicked. Additionally, conversion tracking can be used to analyze whether a predefined action (e.g., purchasing a product on our website) has been taken after clicking the link in the newsletter. Technical information is also recorded (e.g., time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). The data is collected solely in pseudonymized form and is not linked to your other personal data, eliminating direct personal reference. This data is used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of recipients.

If you wish to object to data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with salesforce.com, in which we obligate salesforce.com to protect the data of our customers and not to disclose it to third parties.

Even after the abolition of the US-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield," the services of Salesforce can still be used. In this context, we refer to Salesforce's binding corporate rules for processors and the standard contractual clauses of the ECJ, both of which are included in the data processing addendum.
